About Me

I’m a Brighton-based printmaker creating handmade linocut prints inspired by landscapes, people and the urban environment. While I enjoy working across a range of media, including drawing, ink and monoprint, linocut is where I feel most at home. I love the balance of careful planning and the unexpected results that often emerge through the process, making every print unique.

Before printmaking became such a central part of my creative practice, I trained and qualified as an architect. My architectural work continues to shape the way I see and create. I’m fascinated by composition, structure and the interplay between positive and negative space, using carefully considered linework to simplify and reinterpret everyday scenes.

For me, printmaking is both a craft and an escape. I enjoy the tactile process of carving, inking and printing by hand, creating pieces that celebrate the character of handmade work. My aim is to create prints that invite people to pause, look a little closer, and find beauty in familiar places and moments.
